Powerflushing

ASP's Gas & Oil Services offers full powerflushing facilities. Powerflushing can be used in several different circumstances:

Installation of a new boiler. In order to validate the manufacturers warranty, prior to fitting a new boiler, the central heating system must be thoroughly cleaned using a powerflush machine in conjunction with specialist chemicals.
Poor performance. Over the life time of a central heating system, muck, sludge and rust (known as magnetite) will build up in the central heating system. This will seriously degrade the performance of the radiators, as well as have an impact on the life span of the boiler, pump, valves etc. The only effective treatment for this is a powerflush.
Blockage. Occasionally a central heating system may become blocked, this can have devastating effects on the system. Powerflushing can get rid of the blockage.

A poweflush machine is a huge drum with a very powerful pump installed in it, that gives the engineer the ability to observe the central heating water. The pump also allows the flow direction of the central heating to be reversed, this allows for ultimate cleaning.
